Case Studies

Destination Stratford

Prompted by incidents of racism, homophobia, and religious intolerance being experienced by members of the Stratford community, a broad community response was initiated. Destination Stratford engaged MTC to support them in building EDI knowledge and practice, convening community collaboration, and developing a Welcoming Community Statement.

Toronto Foundation

Embarking on a journey of profound transformation, the Toronto Foundation entrusted our team with the monumental task of orchestrating a sweeping cultural metamorphosis in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). Our commitment to this endeavour resulted in a series of impactful interventions that have resulted in deep cultural transformation.

The Inside Out Project

The Inside Out Project: Our Future is Inclusive © is a group learning education program launched by Mending the Chasm in 2021 and created to build inclusion, equity, and anti-racism capacity. This virtual ten-week program was designed to be a highly engaging and blended group learning experience to help organizations build inclusive, equitable, anti-racist, and accessible workplace practices and cultures.

FEEDBACK

Client Feedback

"Mending the Chasm is a fantastic partner. They are skilled, honest, clear and extremely helpful when things get tough. Their ongoing attentiveness, coaching and recommended approaches were a perfect match for our organization... It was truly customized, emergent, and iterative, as it needs to be, given how sensitive/difficult/raw/challenging but rewarding this work can be"

"We chose Mending the Chasm because of their deep expertise as well as their access to partners they work with. Another deciding factor was their body based , and trauma informed approach. Our agency has been fully trained in Trauma Informed Perspective and this was very helpful and welcomed.”
